For as dumb as some claim Jake too be, he did the right thing and I am sure he took down his number for the next game.

I have no problem with just tossing the gloves and feeding him some knuckles but you need to be facing the player... none of this sucker punches while the guy is trying to run away.... in that situation, you let the guy display what a coward he is the rrest of the night if he keeps giving you his back. Second best outcome imo.

For those who want it handled like Bertuzzi did against Moore,,,, well you'll have to wait to next game. People forget it wasn't even in the same game so this rapid harsh response they want was pretty damn slow actually.

If he keeps up a similar pace to finish the last 10 games of his season then he’s looking like pretty much a lock to be a future impact player. Every player on that list produced as a top line NHL’er in their prime.

From a business perspective I think its a smart move; not going head to head vs NFL, and then their hardline on anthem standing and convicts (so no Manziel) will take some of those NFL boycotters.

I barely watch NFL as it is, so I wont watch, but McMahon is striking while the frustration with the NFL is running high, so I am sure he'll do well
