Kampf line making up for possession death on the Toews line.

Watch Jurco - dude is fast, finishing checks, and winning board battles.

Especially loved the 19 and 2 absence from the PP.

Exactly. ...we've all been calling for that 2 men behind the net scheme for years. 1 pass to Seabs sneaking in and BANG. Something new....hallelujah !!!

Toews looks like he's playing with a broom in his hands again.....sore back or not, what's happened to his hands ?????

- Hawkytalk

They’re tired from winning face offs.

Did the ref not see Marlow hit the puck? They must have thought the Blackhawks were last to touch it, but that wasn't the case. Geez.

Lol and lead in his skates. 19 is paid to be great, but he's been mediocre now for 2.5 seasons.

Anson Carter is a moron and needs to shut the F up

He just proved he apparently has no idea what icing is

Kind of liked Gusto defensively, pretty tough out there, we'll see if the mental part finds its way in.

Seabrook, I didn't know he was a ref, little league poop.

Lead or not, his line didn't give Matthews much to work with. Good matchup so far from the first line.

Really like what DeBrincat is bringing to the line. The speed and passing accuracy/playmaking is notably improved. Kid should play with top 6 talent.

It's just very hard for me to understand how this guy went from a Top 3 center in the NHL to looking like a 3rd line grinder in terms of speed, playmaking, and puck control.

I don’t give a rats a$$ whether it was or wasn’t touched. You play to the whistle. Any other D man not 2 or 7 who had that type of brain fart would have his butt glued to the bench and either be banished to the pressbox or sent down to Rockford.

Just took Q over half a year and the veterns not getting it done to move Dcat up to where he should be playing. He won't t get any better playing on the 3rd and 4th line.

Schmaltz had a really good period as well. Kaner dominating the puck like usual and a threat to score on every shift.

Respectfully, I think that is a bit extreme. He played pretty well half of last season after he returned from injury. If he could put a few PP shots in the net his production wouldn't be that bad this season either, but I will say the last 10 games or so he has had the puck jump off his blade unusually often. I'd be more concerned if teams top lines were scoring on his line, but it isn't really happening.

Bowman is on Sportsnet saying he really likes the team just not where they are I. The standings. He also says Joel isn't on the hot seat.

He knows what icing is, I'm guessing that he played more games in the NHL than you did. His point was that Seabs should have looked to see if the ref or linesman had their arms up to indicate an icing. Seabs was lazy, sound familiar?

Deep down he wants to trade him for Nazem Kadri.

He did look over at the linesman but I don't think lazy has anything to do with it. It should have been an easy icing call, so much that veteran NHL player stopped on the play automatically. Bad call, he should have kept playing but it is what it is.

Ya so he's still good at defense and faceoffs. Need offense consistently for that $$, that's the bottom line.

Duclair omg finish that. And Kampf post damn. I like Schmaltz's potential if he gets stronger he could be a legit 60 point 2C
