We have weaknesses all throughout the lineup, we have no "strength" to trade from. So trading our 1 legit D-man for a a forward is stupid, and outside of Kane, possibly ROR with the right team celery-wise we have no forward strength to trade from to get D-men.

We need to be patient.

We can point fingers all we want. This is the situation we're in. There are no quick fixes.
