Serious question with a lazy response. I don't think AMAC is a great defenseman but I also don't think he is near as bad as he is painted by our fanbase. I don't see 40+ defensemen in the league that I would want to have played as many minutes and games for the Flyers already this season to replace him. At worst he is a borderline top 4 defenseman.

Contract alone is why I would jump at first opportunity to trade him. Robert Haggling plays like a vet. Provorov legit. We need what Gudas and Ghost have to offer. Take the good with the bad, get Morin and Sanheim playing every single night.

I know how most of you feel about the All-Star Game. You guys hate as much as the shootout with the fire of ten burning suns, and that's fine. I get excited when young players that have potential to go, actually make it. This could be Sean Couturier and Shayne Gostisbehere's year. I also want Giroux to go just because I want the league to know that he's still one of the best in the league.

I remember Gagne's first go. Hartnell. Jeff Carter. Mike Richards. Wayne Simmonds. Jake Voracek. Giroux himself. I get excited for these young guys who make it.

I usually dont watch but check out the highlights. I dont mind it really. Its good for the players to have some fun.

Between the video games and all star game is how I learned about the stars around the league as a kid.

Giroux 2nd in points and 2nd in the NHL in assists

Jake 1st in assists 4th in points

Coots 4th in the NHL in goals and tied for 14th in points

This is awesome

Next year gets interesting. You pretty much have Ghost, Hagg, Prov, Gudas and Sanheim as locks (they should be anyway).

Last spot should be going to Morin. Myers will be knocking on the door soon enough also.

Couturier should be a hands down lock for the Selke.

G, Jake, Coots and Ghost are the driving forces of the team but I would still like to see more balance among the offense.

I’d love to see Lindblom brought up and replace Raffl on the line with Flip and Jake and then Raffl places back on the 4th. Raffl is a legitimate bottom 12 forward.

More balance would be great, but I doubt you'll see much of it before next season at the earliest

Hard to believe we are only 3 points out of 3rd in the Metro.

Tied for the last playoff spot in points. But I thought we were told they weren’t a bubble team? I’m confused

I ran into him at Pancheros in Voorhees once. Head to toe in a baby blue velvet track suit.

Kid needs some help.

Hard to understand with how bad the Flyers are with developing players, how poor their coaching is, and how bad many of their players are.

The depth on this team has sucked, but I am heartened by the recent play of Konecny and Weal. They are playing confidently. I like confident Konecny. He is a cocky em-effer when he's on his game.

All of the Filpulla criticism feels warranted. I don't know if the possession numbers bear this out, but it just seems like he's been soft on the puck, regardless of what zone he's playing in.

I agree on Konency. It seems to me that he is taking the next step and I think he could have a big second half.

I don't understand the Filppula criticism. He is one of those kind of players that if he would get injured and miss significant time, those criticizing him would find out how much this team would miss him. Just makes a lot of little plays out there in both ends of the ice.
