He said he picked up 4.

You probably missed this, but Gudbranson for Marner + 1st was what Cherry said in the intermission was in the works.

Missing 7 teeth you can officially say Tanev sucks

Ouch lol.... so if its just teeth then dentist can fix bleeding, swelling, etc. issues, quickly enough, to get him into a full face shield and back for next game.

Very true. Dowd and Gaunce looked decent in the defensive role as did Chapoo at times. I like Dowd's skating and transition game.

I agree that the team was playing not to lose for close to half the game but Markstrom just isn't a goaltender that can close out these types of games. He played well yes but there is a reason he almost set the record for most NHL games played without a shutout. No lead is safe with our goalies right now which sucks as that game was very winnable in regulation. Never should have saw OT. But it is what it is.

Yup but it didn't help they were playing with 5D most of the game. Especially when Tanev is out and you got Edler covering those minutes. NO lead is safe lol.

They are buddies.
(sort of)

Good you made that edit to "sort of" giving at least some insight to those clueless ones. It does qualify the nature of the chirping within Kesler range.

Good point. I am hard on the Goalies but Stecher and Edler logged big minutes tonight...and were totally fooled on the tying goal.

Agreed before with you on that. But blamed it more on Edler cause he should know better then young Stecher still learning that pace adjustment to NHL coverage.

Stecher, if he doesn't know what to do on that play, needs to go back to college and learn how to play better defense than that.
Christ man that was a play you learn in pee-wee, what to do.

Also true. I think Stecher Edler and Markstrom are all to blame for that tying goal. Stecher for getting fooled on the stretch pass...Edler for getting caught out of position and allowing Bozak to shoot (twice)...and Markstrom for the brutal rebound. Comedy of errors really but you have to give Bozak credit for finishing on that play too.

I like Bozak and look forward to seeing him signed by Canucks for a reasonable cost on 2 year deal. 👍

Yes though to add to what wasn't addressed but alluded to on Stecher. He is learning NHL pace adjustment on reacting in time. Which is par for the course for young NHL D as lesser leagues don't give them those challenges. Tonight played an aggressive game and was noticeable making plays and breaking up rushes for all those top minutes.

On Marky spot on. Its either he develops the consistency or doesn't at this point in his career curve.

Edler I don't know will running lines with Vanek help
