Difference between seguin and gudbranson? 1 pick. Dallas stars traded down from their 1st pick to get two 2nd round picks to anaheim and Anaheim got Cory Perry. Arguement can definitely be made for both sides of keeping picks or trading down

Look at guddys stats though. He never produced at any level and it was old school thinking that made him 3rd OA. In this draft there could be 6 dman taken top 10. I am not saying take one just for the sake of taking one but if you think the 3 or 4 players are equal get the extra assets.

To counter your point. You dont want to end up being the sabres where you pass up on sergachev to take a Nylander when you have 1 top 4 Dman. Id say that is more of a comparable to our current situation.

I think our top 10 should be BPA and then after that our picks in rounds 1-3 should be BDA, unless some crazy good Forward drops.

In this case, I'm talking about trading for Duclair which really has nothing to do with drafting d. We need scoring just as bad and he is a proven scorer who is available for trade. Are there some young d available for trade? I'd be into that, but don't know of any.

I dont know if we could but id like to try and grab josh brook out of montreal. They are a disaster and might do something stupid. I have any clue what the price would be, we just dont have much to trade to a team at the bottom of the league.
