And what are the chances by finishing 1-16, go for the best chance and hope for the best. Every year is a different opportunity, or like bits and bites every hand full is a different combination.

For sure. Hope for the best, i just don't bet on it.

Team was 4 games above .500 with Horvat and that was with Edler/Tanev missing some games too. They'll finish the season strong and make the wildcard teams sweat a little.

Anaheim looks like a strong contender now that they're healthy.

Hi,

New blog sets up the gold-medal game, plus Demko & Boucher named to AHL All-Star Game. And a little Canucks...

I love this idea, might as well. I'd play him on every offensive zone faceoff and powrplay I could. the kid's poise when shooting... I said it before, he reminds me of Naslund with his accuracy and release. Except he's doing right off the bat, not 4 or 5 years into his career. I don't see Hull or Bossy, those guys had such unique shooting styles and Brock doesn't use a clapper. He shoots top cheddar and takes just enough time to make sure it's accurate, but it's all wrister.

I do see a lot of similarity with Bossy, less with Hull or Naslund. I agree that Bossy's snap shot is different than Boeser's wrist shot, but I think the technology change (composite sticks are super flexible today compared to the wooden sticks of Bossy's era) could be a factor here. Goalie size/equipment/style may also be a factor.

What Bossy & Boeser both did/do exceptionally well is make smart plays with the puck, find open ice, get the shot away quickly, and find the back of the net. Neither of them raced around or ran through defenders. For me, how they play is very similar.

Regardless of comparison, though, Boeser is the best story on the Canucks this year and I'm hoping he can continue the pace through the rest of the year.

That's fine, Flames coach has gone full Torts, Yotes suck, Oiler suck, Vegas will cool down eventually, plenty of wins to be had.

I see nothing wrong with that statement. Brock can carry a line and so can Bo. Sedins will be back to being 3rd liners. This team will upset a lot of teams down the stretch.

😂😂👍

Well i will keep harping on our need for D & the scoring from them we lack. If BPA fine but it only delays filling a big hole in the system for many years to come.
