I've seen maybe 5 games this year. Watched the First two. Saw one in person while home for Christmas.

They lost me, they are worse than the tank years. Its quite embarrassing.

Unfortunately they need another rebuild, but they also don't have pieces to trade away to get high picks.

Belichick is done in NE if any of this is true. He had a succession in place and they fried it, now they have a 40 year old and nothing else at QB. That being said, it would not surprise me at all if they fleece some schmuck GM and land one of the "big 5" QBs in this draft.

Right. That's the point. No way Billy B wanted his heir apparent traded. He lost a battle of the bigs. That could also be why he really didn't get much back for JG. He's not interested now in making NE any better and his resignation letter is sitting sealed on Kraft's desk with a note saying "do not open until season is over".
