Maroon is a pending UFA and Gryba is a scrap-heap defenseman that a team with defensive problems thought so highly of that they allowed 30 other teams the chance to pick him up for free. - eichiefs9
Marron is RFA not UFA per Cap Central. Snow likes scrap heap defensemen so Gryba fits the mold... |

D is biggest problem halak is back up around his average but sucks on pk as does team and greiss is brutal. If he can rebound a little and halak continue his play they should be ok. Add d and play more passive on offense and create turnovers to score like devils |

Patrick Roy in his prime could not help with the way this team plays D. |

So Google informed me that your response has something to do with something in the NFL. Since Google was vague and I’ve never actually watched an NFL game, I shall respond “(frank) You!”
I apologize if this was not the correct response. |

The defense is fundamentally all wrong. You have two defenseman chasing the play in their own end while two opposing players are left unchecked in front of the net. That's coaching. That needs to stop and it's either Weight not addressing it or the players not listening.
I want a trade for a defenseman like everyone else but how much will IT help if they continue to play like this? - Cptmjl
Thats on the players imho. There isn't a coach in the NHL or a pee wee league that wants their 2 D man puck chasing and leaving the front of the net unmanned. |

Stop the kidding schwein. You know the Islanders were going for a 5th straight Cup when they lost to the OIlers in 84. |
