I hope you have a fun & safe New Years Eve. For us it's the Seahawks game, Russia vs Sweden and then "The Big Lebowski". Old Fashioned Baked Beans and Pulled Pork in their respective Dutch Ovens. Some cloeslaw and a Malbec-Cab Sauv-Merlot blend from Argentina.

Watched Lind last night, I think he only got 1 assist but should of had 3. He made 4-5 passes that were just ridiculously good.

He’s going to take a couple years but his vision, work ethic, and shot look awesome.

Ya, doesnt really matter how fast or positionally sound you are in the Western Conference. Ellis is probably the smallest best D and he's a 2nd pairing at best. Wouldnt want to draft another 2nd pairing D in the top 5 😂

I think peoples aversion to him is that he doesn't wow you. Should be a solid, non-spectacular NHL dman. People get too caught up in the idea of a "top 5 pick"

How about Brisebois? Any news on arrival time for him? Could be a decent sized D-man if he hits the weight room.

He is not high on the depth chart Canucks have 8 Dman now and Holm Wierchioch OJ and McEneny ahead of him but he is still young

Generally if you get a top 5 pick, I think most want a game breaker type of player. Not all drafts have 5 game breakers in them. It doesn't seem as if he is a game breaker, more of just a really good D.

Noticed during the game that the apple fell the same way for both Matthew and Brady. Chippy kid Brady is.

Matthew isn't as good as most would lead some to believe. 48 points last season. Only on pace for around 40 points again this season. Baertschi is on a better pace.
