His PK and forecheck are very good. He needs PP time to produce and he just isn't getting it. Primarily a garbage goal scorer but need to be with players to create space for him not named Sedins...

The Finns sure give up a lot of scoring chances when Heiskanen and Valimaki are on ice, when Juolevi is on ice they look very good.

Dowd has been pretty solid so far and defensively Gaunce has it. Gaunce needs to manufacture some goals though and not off his ass. Yes term and cash suck for LE but he is bringing some intangibles to his game.

No, no need to rush him. Let him start in the AHL to keep the development progression. IMO he is the type of player that plays on feel and how comfortable he is. He needs to be developed slowly and not rushed to benefit the fan base.....just my opinion.
