You are right I don't know what goes on behind scenes.
I do know that if he is going to sign with Canucks at end of college season, he would still be eligible to play in Olympics in 5 weeks time as he wouldn't be under contract at that time and if he were he would be ineligible to finish the college season. - Reubenkincade
I think he will get the Boeser treatment this year and burn a year ECL as a bonus |

Now I remember . It stemmed from the discussion someone said he would get 20 G and I said no way he gets 20 in a Canuck uniform by TDL he would probably get 8 G 7 A .
Do you know what color shirt I was wearing that day? - VANTEL
Lime green skin tight turtleneck, oversized belt buckle and skin tight corduroy bell bottoms.
Oh, and a blonde toupee. |

That was my thinking from last Spring and they could really use Guadette now feeding BB over Gagner. |

Lol. I think I’m wearing the exact same outfit as guy on the right in a few grade school photos.
Might as well strapped two sheep to your legs. The wool/polyester clothing of that time was horrific. |

I was thinking more along the lines of the Griffen Molino treatment.
If Gaudette earns a soot on team great, no more gifting spots to these young players. |

The only people receiving gifts on the Canucks are a few privileged vets. |

I know. What the falk are they doing, there must be someone in Utica they can bring up that isn't on a PTO.
MacEwen and Chatfield maybe, start sending these privilege vets to the press box .... or trade them. |

I was talking more about PP time. Give your best scorers on your team the bulk of the responsibility.

I thought you might be referring to something other than a call up. The roster is very thin in Utica at the moment as well.
The rebuild/transition period discussion has been going on for over a year on here and I think most agree that until Sedin's are gone expect more of the same...unfortunately.
I am enjoying watching Boeser, Virtanen and even watching Goldobin grow somewhat so far. |

TG was doing that when he had a healthy line up.

This is true, so much nicer then watching what WD was putting out game after game. It's refreshing for a change to see the exciting young players put in position to score.
Much better then WD putting 2nd rate scorers out time after time. |

Nope....i don't think megna was a top scorer in the NHL last year, but if that's what you saw happenings, then...... no point arguing about it right........ ..... |

Really? I just remember twins being pushed out there when thy had nothing going on. Slow, timid, and predictable.
TBH I think the young guys (and injuries) forced TGs hand. BB went from being a questionable nhl rookie player to being the teams best. Is that a result of TGs patient coaching style or the fact that the franchise can’t recognize the talent they already have.
I wonder if the Canucks management group were a little surprised with what they had. |

Yes all the NHL ready Comets are with the Canucks right now. The player changes will come when the injured of BO, Sven and Sutter return by the end of this month.
That leaves only one more new face we might see in a Canuck uniform before season's end in Gaudette. Don't think Dahlen will get a look if he doesn't go to Comets first.
