I know we're knee deep in some thought provoking conversation but had a random question...long shot but:

i remember after his golden goal crosby said he blacked out when it happened...and just now saw a sportsnet feature on dahlin where he said the same thing about his end to end playoff goal last year.

I remember it being described as some sort of athlete blackout phenomenon or whatever but does anyone know what it's actually called ? spent way too much time combing through old textbooks looking for it lol

Division trades are risky.
Doubt either team will want to deal with the other.

Think western teams

You know Homie... Wish they had a coach like Herb Brooks who would take the sticks and pucks away and make them do sprints for a few hours. If they don't want to work during the game make them earn their money in frigging practice..

Unfortunately they can't do that anymore. CBA sucks everything that helps you get good out of practice.

You can't have surprise practices after games, they have to have a day or 2 off during the week, which makes it hard to practice at all if they have 4 games during a week.

Practices can only be so long.

I bet a lot of these coaches would like nothing more than to skate their guys into the ice, but they're not allowed to do it anymore.

Oh man, a guy can think and clearly illustrate his thoughts, pure madness!

First of all, I didn't call him a homo, get some reading comprehension skill-books.

I said I smoke weed, he said "Go put that phallic pipe in your mouth" and I suggested he was closet-homo.

Now, my actual real life gay friend sitting next to me was the one who said it, and since I agreed, I posted it. Because, who's going to make the connection between a marijuana pipe and a penis? Right, someone who's thinking about a penis.

I can't make this up, really. Suggesting he was closet-homo was also suggesting he was homophobic, since the only homophobic people I know are also clearly in the closet.

Which really is the worst kind of person to be, in all honesty. If people can't accept who they are, then it makes it really less enjoyable for the rest of us.

I would call those people twats, yes. And they make even the most reasonable and rational people lose their cool, sometimes.
