What happened with the rebuild? Not trolling just looking for an honest conversation.

Is there not enough talent? Was the Okoposo deal a mistake? Is Lehner not what was expected?

Just trying to see what happened, as a Flyer fan I am hoping they can still keep trying to ice a competitive team and also revamping the roster for the future.

The porn industry has depth. They'll call another one up from the minors and develop her correctly.

Tim Murray f@cked it up

should have tanked one or two more years instead of getting ror, kane, bogo, okposo and lehner

d is too weak
bottom 6 is too weak
reinhart not a first liner

Too many bums collecting a paycheck. Not a winning cultured group of contracts.

Do the Sabres have enough in the system to make a quick turn around or will this take more time again?

It honestly depends on the moves Botterill makes this season.

If he can fleece some top flight defensemen and win the lottery, we are looking at a quicker time frame.

it seems like he knows what he needs to do, though.

Kind of like the Flyers.

It was going to take time to shed some dead weight and draft some of the horses that are needed. Even now the Flyers are still probably about 2 years from being a consistent threat in the playoffs.

A big question will be what the Flyers do with Simmonds. trade him now while he is probably at his highest value or do you resgin and 30 year old next season to a deal that is like Backes or Ladd got.

With where the Flyers are I think the best bet would be to move Simmonds this year and capitalize on his value now

he has more work then he thought when he took the job

this team is way too slow for what he wants to do, and the one winger that fits his style, he is going to have to trade most likely

Do they have to move Kane or is it because they don't have enough prospect depth they need to bring in some?

Could they resign Kane and move O'Reilly?

Is Eichel developing on the path they intended?

Kane wants 7.5 to 8 mil per

they can't afford that given ror, okposo, bogo, etc deals

ror needs either faster wingers, or they need a faster center

perhaps that puts ror on the wing with jack if he is not shipped

eichel is fine 5 on 5, next to no pp points

locker room has no leaders in it, biggest problem other than being a slow team

We've got a couple studs like Mittelstadt and Guhle on the way up. Should be here soon.

Kane is just being traded because of contract status. Won't let him walk for free and could use the prospects either way.

Moving RoR and keeping Kane is a lateral move. Probably rather keep RoR to be honest, others will disagree.

Eichel had a little slump going for a minute, but just came out with the Jack Trick last game. I think he needs some better linemates. Pouliot, Pommer and Reinhart haven't been able to capitalize on anything...even the tap ins for the most part. Pouliot to a lesser extent, he's cashed a couple.

What about guys like Bailey, Fasching and Baptiste? Are they not ready or just not good enough? I thought one or two would be with the Sabres. bailey is a guy I would like on the Flyers because the Flyers are just too small on the wings right now.

Thing is, I bet he gets 7.5 from someone as a UFA. Really hoping Botters can get a decent return if that's his starting point.

The overhype is real. I don't even care about the return anymore, just avoid bad value like the plague

I look in that picture right at three oclock and I'm reminded of Shelly Dillingham and the Christmas party in 1990.

He and C.J. Smith are two players who need to get a look with Eichel this year to see what they have there.

Bailey hasn't shown much at the NHl level, but he hasn't had a full year yet either.

I have never liked Fasching, but some think he's a good net-front scorer

botts wants the kids to win together as a group in rochester

holding them all back as long as he can and then after he assesses the mess with the big club, sprinkle a few kids in the second half
