I agree with the lottery 1st (would it be lottery protected though?) but we need help sooner, so I would guess it would have to be a close to nhl prospect or top prospect (two years away). With Vancouver and injuries they have had, I dont think they have NHL ready players they can trade at this time.

I totally agree on your first point, which is why I mentioned Goldobin and Juolevi. Two seasoned minor leaguers getting close to jumping up. Juolevi might be two years out, but I'd bet Goldobin is ready by next season.

Thanks to Jack Eichel's hat trick on Friday night my five year old is purely obsessed

That seems fair to a real contender who needs depth forwards going into the playoffs. Moulson @ $2.5 million playing 4th line and Power Play duties is reasonable. Getting anything for him at this point would be a bonus.

Give me one of the Viking QB's for a year or two until they turn it over to whomever they draft this draft (I want Mayfield)

once he gets the degree, he can sign with us, for a few weeks to burn a year on his entry level contract, or wait til mid august and go home and sign with the wild
