the league won't let him relocate when they make literally hundreds and hundreds of millions in expansion fees, and when there are many teams who are worse off.

melnyk is clearly desperate, is unable to keep the team much longer. it's obvious that the city doesn't want him as owner, i'm pretty sure the league doesn't want him as owner, and it seems like even hte players don't want him as owner...............

I honeestly just typed a rant hating on the Melynek comments. But what the effing point. Just sad.He's like the mother in law of a wife who is just awful. You love the wife, but you just tolerate and look the other way with the mother in law.

But these comments today are just out of line. The NHL really needs to step in and take a (frank)ing hold. They stick up for the (frank)ing Coyotes who have 7 fans. Do something for Ottawa!

His comments also sounds like he isn't interested in a downtown arena anymore or at all. He won't spend extra money on the team, but will spend money on winning bids he has no interest in pursuing?

Guy is delusional. Has no idea how to bring actual revenue to a professional sports team.

He basically says he wants to move the team to Toronto with his grocery store garbage. He just wants the Leafs type of ownership/revenue. That won't happen. (frank). Sell the team. The NHL or NHLPA needs to start taking action. This is a circus now.

fans are underrated af in this market and I hope Melynk is gone asap (I was close to him when he made these comments) on the other side of the ice....
