Don't know that I give much credence to a player being great, but playing for a bad team. He gets more minutes than other players, should make the team better if he's any good .......?
That plus the mentality of being on a perennial loser, cannot be a positive when looking for a player to trade for.

Both of those players will be signing for about $90 million for eight years, which even with a big cap boost (to $80 million next year) does not fit for the Leafs. Leafs could use a d-man with ability and size. Trouba or OEL fit the bill, depending on the cost.
