Toews as been garbage all night!
Kane’s frustration= penalty=game!
Franking hate Nashville and their fans!!! - Blackhawks4life
can't speak to the first 2 points did not catch most of the game...saw replays of the goals...but agree with the 3rd...
bouma gets thats up another 5 inches = 3-3...he was trying to get that blade under the puck...tough to do when ya know you are about to get clocked...
the trend with the perds continue...can't score and therefore can't beat'em in regulation...0-2-1 this year, 0-6-1 in last 7 games with 7 goals scored...(frank) IT

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not...your posts give me headaches. I think you're joking here. - kwolf68
Yes, that's a joke.
Overall the Hawks played well and it's nice to see the depth forwards really starting to contribute. The effort was there tonight, just move on to the next game. |

Where was 38 in the 3rd , didn't see him much.
Overall played well enough to win, Perd's got most
of the calls and breaks
Wingels get's it 3 inches higher and it's a tied game
but then why did Q take him out after that?
Why not have 40/57/12/19/8/88 out there at the end?
Didn't Franson get silly slashed on his great rush, twice
by the Subban, ref''s were homer's tonight. |

That’s where I disagree
Always start your #1 Goalie in the games that mean the most
Basic stuff
It’s a loss
Moving on - Colbyboy
Why does it mean more than yesterday? Whatever, Crow will be 100% rested for both Dallas games. |

Dam !! I hate the Preds !!! .HAWKS never stop working ,and that is good enough for me .Kane don't miss many but tonight was not his night .That was a goalie win for Trashville .No disrespect for our guy , Forsberg was fine tonight made some big saves . Panik has to show more ..Our line were reversed tonight 4th was great 3th good 2nd ok 1st invisible ....Bring back Vinny !!!! - oldduffman
I'm sure Panik will break out of his slump soon. He's always been a streaky forward, watch him score at a point per game pace for the next 5 games.

JOHN HAYDEN dominates down low...pass, goal by Bouma...
we have a 3-2 game.
Line 4 with both goals....Paging Lines 1 and 2. - kwolf68
Agreed. ....so where the F is Hayden with the goalie pulled ? Q drives me nuts sometimes. Hayden was a beast forward all night and Q doesn't use him to pressure the crease ????? Gotta play his old core favorites....Sharp ??? Are you serious ??? Frustrating Core !! Bad penalties by Kane and Keith, Toews can't finish, Sharp a waste, Seabrook slow and bad. |

I thought the Hawks played pretty good tonight considering it was 2nd of B2B on the road against a team that jizzes when they beat Chicago...it's a work in progress. I am fine with the media circle jerking over Nashville. Lay low, build things up, develop and go for it in April/May/June.

intra-division match up is more important than intra-conference, which is more important than non-conference because of how they impact the standings and therefore the playoff positioning and home ice advantage. |

Other than Kane and Crow the core looks done. Keith and Seabrook were brutal tonight. Toews' line was a joke. Not sure why...they were amazing the last few games. |

Whatever dude...the goalie played awesome tonight. Why the hell is this even a thing? Crow has NO chance on goal 2 or 3...maybe 1, but who knows. Maybe no net presence...and getting scoring from only our FOURTH line....Keith and Seabrook sucking is a more pressing issue. |

Considering it was the second half of back-to-back games I think their effort was quite solid. Losing hurts of course, but losing to Nashville is even worse. But credit goes to the Preds, they have a solid team.
The team continues to trend in the right direction, but I agree that this team is still a work in progress. |

Class of the conference...Preds are the deeper team and now have added Turris...
this is the measuring stick...the Hawks don't have the depth to match. They'll be 1-2 against the Preds after tonight. Whereas the Preds will have taken 5 of 6 points.
Looks like two more forwards and another dman to put the Hawks in play. But does Stan have the cap space and/or prospects to make that work? - DK002
yep. I completely agree. Might-could get away with just adding 3rd line center or LW and drop AA down to 3rd line and a dman but I agree that it looks like two are needed. |

Totally agree. Nashville is quite good. However, the Hawks are not that far off from them I think. Personally, I think the biggest difference right now is 2 and 7 are not playing at anything other than an ordinary level.
I mean Forsling, Ruuta have been better than I thought. Hell, Franson has been a find and Murphy has been much better lately. It's Keith and Seabrook tossing it to the other team that isn't helping.
I think it may be time to elevate Hayds up to Line 1....Panik is on a milk carton at this point.
TONS of issues, but this is a good team. It's still not there yet...Dallas is a hell of a team, but their Defense isn't anything compared to the Predators. |

disciplined strong teams like the perds give the hawks top 6 fits regularly...not gonna get open ice time with time and space and when they do rinne cleans it up...
toews/kane with no goals vs the perds this year...2 in the last 7; neither was important |

Was a good game. Quit the whining. Good effort and almost came away with it. Odd man rushes seem to be less which is a huge plus. Smarter play in the offensive zone with quick ups from the D to get them moving on the breakout. |

I'm fine with Q starting Forsberg, just saying this was an important game. Playing Crawford would have sent a message to the team that this is the one to win, that has an impact. I would have started Forsberg against the Ducks instead. Not a huge deal though, in the bigger scheme. Team played pretty well. Move on a win the next one. |

OMG
Mathematics!!!!
Nashville start the night @ 31 points
Hawks @ 27
Hawks win it is 31 Nashville Hawks 29
Hawks lose
its Nashville 33 Hawks 27
Thererfore the 4 point game and therefore a bigger game than against a banged up Ducks team at home.
Make sense???
Big game
Start the Fu kin back up Goalie and rest CC

Sure, bad penalty by Kane, but it looked like something happened before he went crazy on the two Preds. I don't think he acts out like that without any context.
I don't mink Forsberg getting work in against a top flight team like that. Given he hasn't had a ton of experience, maybe the coaching staff needs to know where he stands at this point. And if he gets a win, that would be a boost to his confidence, too. |

It's a team game. Darling took some tough starts last year. Forsberg took one tonight. If we get to April and Crow goes down and Forsberg had never played an INTENSE game then that's a failure. Forsberg is part of this team...a "must win" game in November (if one exists) is a game he should be allowed to occasionally take and succeed. We now know the kid can hang in there.
In the end, none of this matters, because Forsberg played his ass off. The loss had NOTHING to do with Forsberg. Go female dog at a fence post.

2 was not good tonight. How many times did he lose puck battles, toss it to the other team and in one breakaway totally misread the play and didn't attack the puck even though Ruuta had center ice position. He was BAD tonight. |
