This is just a bunch of hyperbole. I asked a simple question. What should Hakstol have done either during the game or after the fact to handle what Gostisbehere did during the game?

What players should they use on the PK instead?

The problem isn't blaming the coach, it's blaming the coach for everything and not blaming the players for anything.

Again, there seems to be some absurd idea that coaches have to give a pre game prep speech before every game to motivate NHL player being paid millions to play hockey.

The Flyers are a one-line team with a VERY young inconsistent defense, and average at best goaltending. This is not a playoff team, but hey, we're not the Coyotes (who we gave their first win to) at least. If anyone had high expectations for them this season, they're nuts.

The Flyers won't be a one-line team anymore as Patrick settles in and Simmonds (who is right on brink of a breakout) inevitably gets on one of his hot streaks. There is also more Filppula and Konecny as well as Weal are capable of chipping in. Also Ghost is stuck on one goal, Sanheim has had about 5 near misses this season and Provorov is capable of double digits this year.

It is not nearly as bad depth wise as it has seemed the last few weeks. Unfortunately, they had basically everyone outside 28-14-93 not contributing points all at the same time. Just hope that when others start to pot a few, the top line keeps rolling too.

Me too, but holy (frank) up 22 on GS, 74 pts in the first half?!?!? Damn that's just unreal. Plus, Embiid may be the most entertaining and likeable and just flat out funny superstar to play in Philly in a very, very long time. If he's past his injury issues, this team is gonna be very good for a long time. Man, once Fultz is healthy and finds his stride, they could take it to the next level. At the start of the season, I thought it would be a couple years before they could contend. Now I'm starting to think it may be a lot sooner!
