My brother in law was telling me he used to play the SNES version of NHL 95, and his buddy wouldn't play unless he could be either Quebec or Colorado (not sure which it was) so he could be Sakic... Sakic would score from anywhere on the ice.

But what team can manage to take on Price's cap without dismantling their team?

All of these to Edmonton rumors are kind of ridiculous.
The Montreal forums are talking about LD, Nurse, Talbot, and possibly a top prospect for Price.................. lol.

However, PC is our GM... but, I think he has faith in Talbot.

Regardless, for funzies,

Price for Talbot, Lucic (waives NMC) or Russell (waives NMC), and Nurse (sell while his value is high) is probably fairer in terms of value and cap, and if it is a Pronger situation, that means we would have the leverage.

Nonetheless, even I wouldn't do that. Gives you less flexibility cap-wise (that contract is not crazy as it seems (he is overpaid, but he is the best goalie in the league...), goalies are voodoo, Price has a long history of injuries, and I see Nurse only getting better and better (looks like he is finally putting the pieces together; however, if Jones comes along and somehow miraculously leapfrogs Nurse like in 1 year , Idk, maybe?).

However, if Russell was being sent the other way... idk... however, out of the two, they would probably want Lucic (seems like Montreal needs some toughness in their lineup apparently....).

As ridiculous as that sounds, you are paying the two best players when it comes to their respective positions.
