The Oilers are goin off on Vegas tonight, it's amazing how two great players surrounded by a few good players can totally change things for your franchise. McDavid/Draisaitl, Toews/Kane, Crosby/Malkin, Kopitar/Carter etc.
I know everyone was pooping all over the Oilers at the start of the year but they're getting healthy again and I can foresee another 100 point season for them. |

The Oilers are goin off on Vegas tonight, it's amazing how two great players surrounded by a few good players can totally change things for your franchise. McDavid/Draisaitl, Toews/Kane, Crosby/Malkin, Kopitar/Carter etc.
I know everyone was pooping all over the Oilers at the start of the year but they're getting healthy again and I can foresee another 100 point season for them.

 I think they can make the playoffs, but its a little too late for 100 point season IMO. They need to go 43-22-0 (or some variation) in their last 65 games to hit that mark. Winning 66% of their games is a pretty tall task |

I am fine with Benning, he is getting better with contracts and looks like he is getting better with getting assets that can be traded at TDL. The way JV is being handled is wrong though, sit gaunce and put LE with sutter/dorsett and JV with twins.
Linden should go though, the treatment of the twins screams Linden favoritism. |

100 might be a stretch but the trick is to get production out of those other "good players" which we really havent been getting much of to this point

I dont think its outrageous assumption, they could easily go on a streak. I just have to think some bad luck will prevent them from winning a few games needed to hit that mark. Probably end up mid-to-high 90's |
