So it's a balancing act on development. Either TG is waiting for more injuries at forward and/or he's got a plan of when to rotate JV into the lineup. Plus TG did say he planned to bring JV along slowly in establishing a power forward role in the NHL. Sitting out games was always part of that plan.

Correct and that's the excuse/motivation behind the scratch. So let's see how this plays out on lesson learned and opportunity to prove it. I'd like to see JV play and be that impact power forward Canucks need.

I know I changed . I was happy when the twins were playing 7 minutes a night and the young guys were playing but we are back again to them playing 17 minutes a night again and we get our asses kicked 5-0

But Hank complained that they were not getting enough ice time so when the Country Club speaks you have to listen

Could be strategic move by rookie coach giving them enough rope to hang themselves with or prove it. Bo's line hasn't lost minutes so the young guys are relevant. JV get's the short stick for now. Its only been a couple games not an entire season like in the past. Play it out and this could be Sedins digging their own grave to retirement.

That's not how JB rolls but its a long season. Where they finish isn't the concern they have as to how they play now.
