Yes the honeymoon is over with TG.
As for the PP its all on we have no D worth being on the PP.
Teams have no fear or respect nor worries about point shots.
Essentially our PP is self stifling. As for Marky he is getting overworked without the history to back it up while Nillson collects dust.

2) how do you know both teams would benefit? You're just assuming he'll fix the PP and that CBJ is willing to give the Canucks a decent pick/prospect.

3) If CBJ is all about winning now they'll aim higher than Gagner.

4) Again, how do you know his contract will end up being good value?

i would say it's generally a lack of skill. i think their production right now won't be kept up by players like perron and james neal.

their gf are top 10 right now but their ga are bottom 10.

i think it's more realistic that their goaltending (and subsequently ga) stays the same while their scoring goes down.

I wonder how much pride has to do with their consistently good play. I would have a pretty big chip on my shoulder if my team exposed me and I got picked up by the expansion team. I would want to show them that they made a mistake.

They have some interesting people in their front office as well like Kelly McCrimmon. Who knows, they may have got it right...

Good confirmation though if you followed my posting better you'd know Gaudette's NCAA season doesn't end early enough to be papered into AHL by Canucks. He won't do a PTO for Comets. That loses the advantage of burning a year off his ELC for staying in college another year to develop. But he'll get a BB look to prove what he has and make the off season decisions more palatable.
