I wonder if it crossed TG's mind to send LE to the comets for a conditioning stint and confidence booster. He would no doubt clear waivers right?...
Right? - Bakwas
Don't need waivers for conditioning stint. |

Yup, when there are no home games in Alberta on Saturday suddenly Vancouver becomes part of Canada again. |

A) LE has an NMC
B) You don't go through waivers for conditioning stint.
C) When was the last time a bona fide NHL regular went to AHL for CS after a few weeks off? |

Nighthawk was very against signing Kerfoot and Butcher calling them AHL at best more likely ECHL players. Not picking on him but the old timer notion that the NCAA isn't a high end developmental league. But it can now be seen as completely above CHL and rivals AHL.
These guys were low draft picks and only offered contracts in their D+4th years. Now they are 4th and 5th in rookie scoring with 12 & 13 points. Guess who's in 2nd... NCAA drrop out BB with 14 plus BU alumni Keller is #1. So I'd say Gaudette would be ready to go straight to Canucks at end of this season and stick for next season. |

Look at Kyle connor, nick schmaltz, tyler motte. While i agree that kids coming from NCAA have never been more ready and more skilled, it doesnt mean all kids are going to transition to pro like them. Gaudette and lockwood might end up like Molino. I wouldn't be so fast to pencil in gaudette is all i am saying |

There are plenty of great Swedish players and Canucks have two prospects that are sure to light fires. It's only Edler and LE that seem they are playing for retirement like the Sedins but will suck their fat contracts dry until that happens. |

Molino is not a comparison in the slightest look at his meandering history and is an undrafted late bloomer that got noticed for a depth contract.

Four of the top 5 rookie scorers are from NCAA. The point was on developmental league being above CHL and rivaling AHL. Not that all players make it just like not all make it from AHL.
As for Gaudette there are no guarantees just like BB learned but would be shocked not to see him stick leaving the NCAA. |

Indeed. I actually blame the Sedins since they set the standard for soft play. The kids get tired and then want to play like them....speaking of which Henrik falls again and a shorty......unbelievable. |
