Guys got too many cards to play with and a complete dead weight player in Eriksson who he has to play and brings nothing to the table.

Theirs so many players on this roster its hard to fit all the pieces in the right places.

Signing LE to play with the Sedins was an epic fail but since no other C is around for LE’s game it is more apparent. Once the Sedins retire & a C prospect matriculates it might bring LE’s game to the level JB expected. Other than that hopeful possibility its not a good signing. If we had a point threat then LE would be better on the PP for net front presence.

The talent is in need of a big upgrade. Believe it or not I am quite content to let this year play out. I just hope they don't feel a debt to bring back the twins next year.

I want a top 5 pick but am happy with a top 10 . I think Bo JV and BB are doing good.

I am no a fan of Benning as a GM and I don't think paying 20 mil for 3 players with 4 goals combined is too smart.

Although i maintained the PP was a top priority going into this season & then go on we lack a PP QB point threat is very contradictory but is still a focus for TG & NB. I don’t see any immediate remedy any time soon but OJ is looming down the road & JB stating an offensive top RHD is his big wish it says to me thats a draft top priority.

Looking at this roster I don't see one top line player. It is 3 years plus since Benning signed on and still has not brought in a top 3 player or a top 2 Dman

Bo and Boeser could be second line talent Sven is not .JB has really only shuffled deck chairs IMO

I disagree. I see Bo BB Sven as a legit top line but they lack protection without another scoring line. Usually will mean feast or famine for us til the new wave makes noise. EP Gaudette Goldy Dahlen r healthy upgrades if they can transition smoothly.

JVR is another free agent I would look at . I don't think the Leafs can afford him.

He would be a good pick up as well, again with a contract in place. I would pay either around 6mil per for 5 years(or around there) as an offer with a 10 team NTC or a 5 team MNTC.

Makes no sense to trade for Kane when he will gladly sign with JB as a UFA. So you are giving Guddy away for nothing. Sven was acquired for a high 2nd as an undeveloped prospect. Now he's been developed into a legit top 6 giving him away for a second also is counterproductive. But I guess you think that is a value deal posting it often so agree to disagree.
