Your take is literally the equivalent of having and expecting a car to run 365 days a year, all the while having 3 flat tires, an oil leak, a faulty o2 sensor, and a faulty thermostat, and instead of fixing the problem, just complaining that all you care about is wanting a fully functioning vehicle - Codes1087
Let it go.
As you said earlier, not everyone lives & breathes analytics.
Personally, I think they are a small tool to use with other measures.
I find they are often used to back-up confirmation bias.
No wonder I left you in the ball room at Ikea 25 years ago. |

It's reality setting in. Benning has some done some good things but also made some gaffes like all GM's do. We just don't have the players to make a run for the WC spot.
We need a top 5 pick badly to complement Pettersson. |

I dont see us getting anything but a top 5 pick this year. Outside the top 2, there is a great selection of kids. More D than forwards but i really like brady tkachuk |

Anyone who uses strictly fancy stats to build a team are idiots. Like you said, its a complimentry performance metric tool that should be utilized and acknowledged is all im sayìng. I never would have thought posting a single players impressive post game corsi would have had someone so triggered but i know now how he stands. All good.
DP had a very good seeing eye test game imo lol |

I am glad we are falling back we do need high end talent . Jim is batting 500 IMO.
I want this season to end and see what it looks like next year.
It looks like Canucks have about 7 good prospects but the Comets are not that good.
I hope they make serious changes this year starting with Mgmt.

I think boqvist is going 3oa no matter what. He is kind of being overshadowed by dahlin. He's going to be real good too |

Glad Derrick Pouliot is finding his way.
If we're losing due to Tanev's absence, their in more trouble than i thought.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The prospect rating does finally look decent.
I remember when Benning was first hired some of us talked about whether he would be here for a renewal…hard to say.
The loss of Tanev really re-iterates the fact we need more shut down dmen…maybe the draft.
But it's clear Edler needs to go. |

I'm actually glad we passed on Tkachuk and went with OJ.
Watched them both closely at Mem Cup and thought OJ was the way to go.
Plus Tkachuk seems like quite a tool not sure we want more of that Burrows/Kesler crap on the team now that we are rid of it. |

One players absence having this much of a negative impact is a healthy dose of reality for the club. Team is not very good. |

From the clips ive seen, brady plays much like his brother. Both play with a chip on their shoulders and both play a gritty game. I think we kind of need a player like that now. But we need so many different types of players right now, anything in the top 5 will be a win |
