@RagerFan1110 - In no way shape or form should the Rangers let go of Skjei to Montreal unless it is Drouin! No other player on Montreal is worth it! No player on Montreal is worth Kreider either! If the Rangers are going to part ways with Kreider, Zucc or Skjei they might as well spend that on Duchene!!!

Have to be the Oil that would be feeling the heat. The moves Costanza has pulled thus far aren't working too well & ok Sekera hasn't played but McD has & Draisaitl has most of them as well. For team that was looking to make that next step closer to Stanley, appears they may have regressed.
What can they do?

I know, but based on Mtl needs , they lack some serviceable defensman , I think Skjei can complement Weber giving Mete some time on the second pairing.
And NY needs the scoring , I doubt they fork over the face of the franchise in McDonagh.

i wouldnt do the trade either. no way mtls let one of the leagues top 5 scoring wingers go for that... im not huge on pacs, but check the stats... he is near the top in league scoring in the last 5 years |
