Just think of the return the leafs could get for Matthews ............ a real starting goaltender, a top pairing d man and prospects

So, no comments on the leafs losing their fifth game in regulation, and slipping to 7th in the Conference???

Saw that Andersen was beaten high glove side again ........... is the "book" now in on him?

yes that book is out.. same as it was for Reimer and any goalie in the history of the NHL

Shoot it in the top corner and its likely to go in

Yeah, when he tends to go down well before the shot is taken, from the point, aiming high is a high percentage shot.

So I guess you did not watch last nights game, in San Jose ......... too late to stay up I guess.

Would be nice to hear a leaf fan talk about their team, once in a while ............... I guess they're just more concerned with how well the Sens are doing in comparison.

overall, after hot start, leafs are on a 96 point pace after 12 games. need to pick it up a little, but a playoff pace none the less.

goal-tending has generally been subpar. but last night andersen did look better; kept the team in a game they had no business being in.

team defense is still an issue. upgrading by trade for a top-4 dman may happen. bozak would look good in sens uniform.

I watched the 1st period, which is already later than I wanted to stay up
But Marner got robbed late in the 1st which would have made it 2-0

I am not worried about perfect shots that pick the corners

I watched the highlights of the rest this morning. they showed a dangerous hit on Moore with no call, then he got a retaliation penalty. Which in turn SJ scored on the PP. that stuff is annoying tbh. the refs dont call a bad hit and players get upset understandably.

based on the stats, the Leafs didnt deserve the 2 points.

My hope is that Players like Martin, Moore and Polak are sat after dismal results.
but that wont happen

Saw the game. Was travelling yesterday from Raleigh to St. Augustine.

Some concern about Karlsson. Thought he was slow in being able to make turn to the right. Wonder if there is some after affects from surgery. He pushes himself and may have pushed his come back too quickly.

However, he is also very hard on himself and we need to see if he bounces back big tonight. I would hope for a steady game rather than a big game but he will push. Sens looked like Keystone Cops (more like the Leafs) on some plays. I guess you just have to laugh about it and hope it is not repeated or there is not something long term going on with Karlsson.

I wouldn't even entertain trading the Sens roster + owner + coaches + prospects for the Leafs.

Neither would any non-Sens fan.

Your team is built to win NOW and your core is getting older and more expensive. Are you going to win now?

Our window hasn't barely opened yet, and yours is closing, fast.

You seemed obsessed with how the Sens are built, their "window", their Roster etc etc ........... you don't seem to want to talk about the 3 game losing streak the leafs are currently one, and the back to back they're playing in the LA area ........... I would be interested in hearing your "take" on them...... just as Senstroll did.

leaf fans ........ and all you want to do is talk about the Senators.

Why don't you guys ever talk about how your team is going to keep all those players, currently on ELCs, on the team once their contracts run out????

Are you afraid?

Are there any players/prospects in the leafs system that you see as viable replacements in a couple of years?
