lots of home games. also, the senaturds had some easy games at home that the blew recently - habs, yotes and knights.

tough stretch of road games coming up; including a trip through california.

we'll see what these geezers are made of over the next ~3 weeks.

lots of home games vs. easy opponents. doshame not fitting in, weak goaltending and a defence that looks lost without methot.

things are not looking good in Ottawa. All of management's bad decisions are starting to become more apparent.

So, you got nothing? Did you run out of things that matter?

I knew your response, when you finally came out of hiding, would be weak. I just never expected you to roll over and die like this.

Here, let me make a typo, to hlep you out. It is sad to see you reduced to this.

my favourite part was how rattled he was and tried shaming Leaf fans for not knowing or caring about his supposed hiding vacation schedule.

The lesser of the tw0 0ntario teams is 0ff t0night. The mightier 0f the tw0 play the C0y0tes, who beat the lesser 0f the 0ntario teams in their last game.

Leafs have t0 take t0night seri0usly and n0t feel t0 g00d ab0ut themselves.

My trash talking is a response to the endless Derp & Chirp from SpazzD'oops.

It is pretty clear that it is WAY too early in the season to draw conclusions, especially when the Leafs hit a hot streak at the same time the Sens went through a rough patch.

It is still funny how they don't have anything to say now.

You could see this one coming a mile away.

nah. they werent going to win every game. after 6 in a row, and a jobbing by the refs, a loss was inevitable. the coyotes were full of confidence after winning two in a row. they played a solid game.

the standings dont change much.

I think there will be many "lessons" to be learned still this year. I look at Kadri now and see how much different a player he is the last couple years compared to his teens and early 20's.

That's why I don't like this trade talk of Nylander or Marner for a dman. The Leafs need to stay patient this year and next year at least look at maybe 19/20 and see where they are then.

The Oilers made a move (as you describe) to acquire Larsson. Not sure if was for the better or not, seeing how they're struggling this year.

But you have to admit, IF the leafs were to make a trade, in order to fill a "need", they would most certainly trade a forward, as that is where they have the most depth, and to get a "need" you would have to trade something of value, to get something of value in return.

I would 100% say if you trade a player for a player who is not as good, it was not for the better

i agree completely. stay the course. its a young mans league and controlled contracts are key.

playing team defensive is more important than adding a player.

So are you saying there are no "needs" on the leafs roster?
