You got all the cliches banged out there good job - senstroll
No accident that Babcock keeps saying the same thing in each of the Leafs 6-3 losses. When a team gives up 6 goals the explanations are pretty straight forward. The goalie is playing poorly, the defence is not doing their job or the forwards are not coming back and providing defensive support. When Babcock says Leafs are getting outworked it suggests that he thinks the forwards are being left behind. |

Sens lead the NHL with blown 3rd period leads..this is a sign of a weak mental team.
some fragility there that might fester over the season if the sens cant stop wasting points.
Am I spatso'ing correctly?

Moderately disoriented.
It is essentially a half full, half empty proposition. They do not play well with 2 and 3 goal leads. They have not done well in shoot outs.
Remember they have only lost one game in regular time.
Tonight might be asking a bit much. They have lots of injuries and they need for some troops to mend.

didnt they give up multiple Leads and get lucky when Philly scored but someone said it wasnt a goal but it was?
Philly was missing simmons also.
Looks like the Sens got away with one - senstroll
Sens never gave up the lead, Flyers never tied the game, Flyers goal called back for goaltender interference ............. and Simmons played 16:51.
Don't know where you're getting your game info, but its not a good source.
Perhaps you'd like to talk about your team's game, last night.
I see they gave the puck away 21 times to the Canes, who also had more takeaways than the leafs did.
Seems the Canes also exposed a leafs weakness in the face-off circle as well, by winning more face-offs than the leafs. |

These guys are beaten up and sick with the flu. They hang on to win last night. They are down 4-2 with less than 2 minutes left in the game and they score two goals to tie it up and take it to overtime. They lost in a shootout.
So in back to back games they take 3 of 4 points. We are pleased. |

Great game. Full credit to Devils. They have some real firepower and speed in their line up. Work hard on every shift. |

incredible come back ............ two goals, with the goaltender sitting on the bench, in-the last 1 minute and 15 seconds ............. in back to back, home then away, games, third game in 4 nights .........
This "loser" point is worth as much as a win.
Sens without Turris, Ryan, Wideman and MacArthur.
Going three rounds in the playoffs last spring has really taught this team to dig down and never give up even when behind by two goals late in the third, on the road.
Dominated in the face off circle tonight as well, 39 to 28. |

So Dopps,
Have you managed to find that post(s) where I said anything about planning the parade for the Leafs, or anything similar.
Just want to know if you can actually back up the poop you say, or at least be a man and admit you just made poop up because you have nothing else.
So far you can't back up your own words and you can't man up either.
You should be embarrassed. |

There are Eight Teams in the Atlantic division.
It seems as though no one wants to talk about the team they cheer for .......... except for Senator fans.
The Senators have managed to get points in 10 out of their first 11 games.......... and are only one of four teams that only have been beaten in regulation once so far this season.
They've done this without their full line up in most of their games, missing Key players due to injury.
This must totally amaze fans of other teams, as they can't find anything to say about the other 7 teams in the Division ......... I guess that's a sign that they see the Senators as one of the teams to beat in the Division.
Senators currently sitting Second in the Division, and now have the next couple of days off ............... until they meet the Canadiens on Monday.
FYI NHL leaders in Blocked shots
Ottawa - 186
Pittsburgh - 178
St. Louis - 165
Philly - 164
Dallas -152
The Senators also lead the Atlantic Division in Goal Differential |

sens lost their 6th game of the season last night. now have more losses than wins. sens fans dont want to talk about this.
leafs have 7 wins. more than doubling their losses.
tampa is the class of the atlantic. leafs only team that comes close.
hopefully the sens and habs rebuild their teams soon so the battle between canadian teams can be more interesting and relevant. its never fun having old guys who always get hurt and giving the other team the puck so much youre forced to watch your team block shots instead of taking them. fortunately for them the nhl rewards losing. |

for the record.
tampa leads the atlantic in goal differential. not ottawa. kind of a d'oops on that one.
though to give ottawa credit they do lead the league in a differential stat. theyre top of the league in shot attempt differential. well...negative differential actually but no reason to get into specifics. when you're giving up the most shpt attempts in the league youre probably getting hit with the puck as much as youre blocking it. |

There you go losing focus again. Two things matter; scoreboard and standings. SENS doing great on both.
Remember the goal was to survive the first 10 games until Karlsson got back. Just hang in until they could be more competitive.
Mission accomplished.
Love these guys. They are a battlefield hostpital of walking wounded and sick players. YET They took 3 of 4 points back to back against Flyers and Devils. How can you not love their character? |

Tampa is MILES ahead of the other teams in the Atlantic at the moment, including Ottawa.
The Leafs would be in the conversation with Tampa, if their work rate would equal their talent. |
