It really shows that the leaf trolls are completely rattled by the upgrade the Senators have made with the three way trade ............ they can't stop talking/trashing the Senators ...... and practically never talk about the leafs, or any other teams in the Atlantic division.
So keep it up, it just confirms you're still not sure the leafs will be up to task this season, to get past the Sens.

I don't think Dorion does anything without making sure the coaching staff is happy with the direction. Boucher knows exactly the players he wants. These guys were so hot for Duchene I was certain that they were going to give up a top prospect.
Turris became expendable because Brassard has had such a strong start and because Pageau and Thompson have been outstanding in 3rd and 4th line roles. In order for Ottawa to beat Tampa they have to match their speed of play.
A lot of Ottawa's team speed comes from their D. With the addition of Duchene, watch Boucher turn the burners on full.

Zero cups ever
0-4 vs Leafs in the playoffs
cheap owner who can't afford to pay everyone with all those poopty contracts
have you found that evidence yet of me talking about parades or Leafs impending championships?
You ready to, finally admit how clueless, and gutless you are.

"Leafs" should be capitalized.
12 "."'s are not appropriate to end a sentence.
It is clear you are upset, and rattled about the Sens not being significantly ahead of, arguably, the worst team in the league the past 2 weeks.
That is a big concern for a team throwing away futures on marginal upgrades, who are on the verge of not being able to afford their good players.

keep it up ............. attacking me is yet more proof that the Senators are under your skin ................ I guess when you can't talk about the leafs, good or bad, you just resort to your natural trollish inclinations.

Still waiting for you to back up what you said D'oops. Be a man and just admit you made it up.
i have a few contacts around the Sens (not insiders) but regularly around management and players. Everyone is really pumped over the acquisition of Duchene. They think they need to get past Tampa to get to a final and Duchene has been their target for a good while.
i still think they will add a power forward at deadline. They have great speed on every line. They need to add a bit more Mark Stone type sandpaper into their defensive play.
Senators are only $500k under cap. They have another $4.6m. from MacArther being on LTIR. It works out to almost the exact number to fit Evander Kane into their roster.
i am a huge fan of Kane. He has done okay lately in terms of his extra carricular beheviours. Hope he is on Sens short list of the player they plan on adding.

A team is never better than their work ethic. Turris was a strong 200' player. Still need to see if Duchene plays a strong defensive game.
I liked Zibanejad but he was on the ice for too many important goals against. If you give up lazy goals Boucher does not want you. So, I have to think they already know the quality of Duchenes defensive play. But, I want to see it for myself.

This type of analysis is dumb and dangerous.
you end up trading good Young players away.
Its safe to say MZ has been the better player and point producer out of that trade
