It's a very small sample but Amac has actually played very well this year.

Don't really like breaking up the Ghost-Hagg pairing which was in a serious groove. Hakstol must not like the idea of a Provy-Gudas pairing. Hopefully it pays off and there is some new chemistry established.
- Baxter27[/quot

Provy has said on several occasions that the reason he likes being paired with Mac is that he is predictable. Gudas is our least predictable player so I could see why Hak may not want him there. That is why I would support Haag with Provy because he is very predictable with positioning and risk taking.

I too would hate taking him from Ghost but not over creating a weak 1st pair.

so that shows 2 things:

1. hes not a top pairing defender
2. hes god awful on the pk

- bulet13

ES CF% has nothing to do with the PK.

Good points. These pairings do create some good balance in the event Morin is called up and plays well or when AMac returns. Both would be a good fit with Sanheim.

Aight fools.

-Sucks Mac is hurt but this should give a shot to one of the kids.
Prov-Hagg
Sanheim-Gudas
Morin-Ghost

-Crying about making 250k a year is weird to me. You want to fix society? Make a maximum wage as well as a minimum wage. See the greedy pigs cry about that.

That wouldn't fix society. Nobody is greedy for earning the salary they can command.

Hey, what's wrong with a bank CEO giving himself a $35,000,000 bonus on top of his $40,000,000 salary while some of his employees are on food stamps trying to feed their families? Seems perfectly fine to me.

In other news, I saw the Chester Union scored 6 goals in yesterday's game. Given that 2-0 is pretty much a blowout in soccer, I'd assume that 6 goals in some kind of international record.

Not sure why we believe that today’s society is the end all be all.

We are heading back to Industrial Revolution days thanks to globalism. Don’t like your poopty paying job and conditions? We will just find someone else to do it.

Whatevs man. People with that frame of mind are dead in 50 and under. Society will evolve one way or another.

AMac, while passing yhe eye test, is not passing the syats test. His corsifor of 41% is the lowest he's ever had and his corsirel to the team is -11%. While i never wish injury on anyone, just like how when streit went down and we got ghost this may end up being for the besr

Looking at these advanced stats after watching the games fairly closely tells me one thing: Corsi and Fenwick have less value than plus/minus, which has some, but limited, value.

Charlie O'Conner says the practice lines look like this based on jersey colors.

Giroux-Couturier-Voracek
Weal-Filppula-Simmonds + Read (grey)
Lehtera-Patrick-Konecny (green)
Leier-Laughton-Raffl + Weise (yellow)

- Feanor

Not sure I like the looks of this. Have not seen anything in Lehtera's game to make me want him out there over Weise. The GW assist was nice but Filppula made the play and Simmonds made the shot. The D pairings will be interesting.

I went to one game down there and the atmosphere was fun. The crowd was nuts.

As for the action, watching 2 teams repeatedly kick a ball from one side to the other of a football field while only getting maybe 8-10 shots apiece for 90 minutes wasn't for me.

I think the opposite will happen. I'm only 34, so I can't quite say "kids these days." But when I grew up, vocational school was pretty big, with people preferring to learn trades. I was the last half-generation that didn't grow up with a PC and cable modems.

However, even kids 10 years younger than me all are better with computers by age 10 than I was at age 20. No one wants to actually work with their hands or do manual labor. Who's going to keep our sewers running? Who's going to perform tree service? Who's going to be a plumber? Who's going to get up at 5 AM, do construction for 10 hours, and get home at 7 PM?

At some point, the only way to entice people to do jobs like this will be for people to pay them tons of money.

If it's got chainsaws, I'm all in favor of it.

And if someone gets injured, they know what they signed up for!!!!
