19 blocked out of 55 SATs - only 23 on net.

That last one - on a Keith shot at the point - almost was disastrous.

Other than Seabrook, the D core has looked pretty good tonight. Forsberg has been stellar.

Forsberg screwed, but he steals a point for the floundering Hawks.

Welcome to the meat grinder of mediocrity.

Sure would be nice if the Hawks had a functioning PP.

Quenneville ?? Panik is one of our fastest skaters, never sees OT ??? Yet ADB does ???
Schmaltz and Kane need to be together 3 on 3. Kane and Toews not great together anymore. Seabrook shouldn't see the ice 3 on 3. Anisimov ??? Seriously wayyyy too slow for OT....on an on and on......Quenneville loss !!

Seemed like the Hawks missed the net about 30 times tonight.

OT winner= Off Seabrook’s stick and in...
Head scratcher for the OT lines!
Every practice should be PP practice until they turn it around!

What practice ,not Q thing ,never has been . To busy at the track or something . Q just throwing players in a hat in OT other then his 2015 All Star combo ,last time he cared .. Time for a change behind the bench ..Great game by Forsberg ,may have a gem there . Bring back Vinny !!

Serious head scratching in OT. The whole buzz about Kane and Schmaltz being electric to start the year and yet Q stubbornly keeps Toews, Kane, and Keith together every single game on OT. It's not 2015 anymore, time to make adjustments Q !!
And Again....no Saad on the ice during the 5 on 3 when he's our best scorer down low What is he thinking here too ??
Many other questionable decisions that he makes. Bouma every game seriously ? I know he's not the problem JJ, but come on.....I'm thinking Hayden needs a chance with Kane and Schmaltz, Hartman showing me very little, even with his big opening night of secondary assists. Adjustments needed from Quenneville and staff. Frustrating night again and will continue unless somebody starts making changes.

I was thinking the same thing Duff. Murphy was hitting everbody, but that's not Q's style. Even Eddy complimented Murphy's game..... he'll be in the press box soon !!

Thinking we need some new life behind the bench. With the additions this off season, I was expecting more from this group. Its a rudderless boat right now. No identity... no energy. Nothing.

4-2-2 projects approx to 42-20-20 = 100 plus pts; not bad

craw and fros are facing 37 sog's and save % between .930 - .947. and combined GA of 2.12

without this great goaltending....well its obvious...

and those numbers can't stay there....hawks better start get getting some shot suppression and lower the number of high quality or its really going to get ugly...

A lot of support for Toews on here. That's understandable only if he wasn't taking up 1/7 th of the team's salary cap. Given that he is, his play is totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, I don't think we'd get much in trade for him because of that salary. What would you take; a couple #1's from a really poopty team to get some lottery picks? I don't think any of the last years playoff teams would take Toews with that salary cap hit. A crappy team may take him to put people in the seats.

For the guys on here that believe that this team will gel, don't believe the team's sales pitch. It isn't going to happen because we blew our load and have limited to no talent in the pipeline. And, the core's talent is just not what it was to overcome our skill deficiencies.

17 seconds was a fantastic memory. Unfortunately, if we don't blow it up and start over, it may turn into 17 years.

Maybe people like you don't pay attention......

When they blow it up, it won't be 17 years - it will be more like three to four decades!!!

Dunno -that was a pretty good pass by McDavid -he basically did a 180 to a backhand pass on the move.

And in looking at it a couple more times, you know that is just awesome puck protection by McDavid --- because he's a lefty Keith has to basically defend 97's forehand on his backhand .... and who is going to do that pivot on the move -seriously -there isn't supposed to be any room to do that - and even if there is - you aren't supposed to be able to maintain puck control like that while in traffic.

Or in other words- that goal was all McDavid to be fair to Seabrook and Keith.

Totally agree.....How many time's have we seen Kane or even Jordan make plays that just make your jaw drop and you keep asking yourself how in the hell he did he do that. McDavid is a special player with a unique skill set that dare I say nobody has. That Kid is the TRUTH!!!
