Unless it's for a top 4/2 d-man. - Atomic Wedgie
Agreed. Need a 25-30 year old proven stop gap defenseman, with a little grit. Don't need another offensive defenseman. |

my leafs do not include bozak.
he's gonzo.
babs' stealth demotion with marner to the 4th was really bozak's demotion. his ice time has been cut by 2 mins a game since that move.
just a matter of time before he's sent packing. - Tumbleweed

“Their line wasn’t going, so tie goes to the veterans,” Babcock said. “(Marner) just happens to be the kid on the line, that’s it. Let’s not read too much into that. You have to have all your units going and we’re trying to do that. It was a big win in Montreal (Saturday’s 4-3 overtime decision), but saying that, we didn’t generate a lot and they did.

ITs pretty telling when "the vets" are consistently the weakest players on the line |

Pittsburgh are still the team to beat in the East as long as Crosby is around.
Columbus are big and skilled and would be very tough to beat in a 7 game series.
Tampa are very good with Stamkos healthy.
Washington still have a great core.
So despite what the odds say the Leafs, if they make the playoffs, could be a first round loser.
Tough league. |

washington is not the same team they were last year.
finishing in the top 4 should be a big advantage this playoffs, likely avoiding cbus, tb and pitts in the 1st round.

Yeah Hainsey looks like he could have been a meth cook in another life. I take that as an indication that he's probably pretty good at hockey in the end. |

I'm not yet convinced this is a bad thing.
Hell, with 3 points he's actually our 2nd best scorer!
