To be honest, from what I've seen so far, bad luck is as much an issue as bad process. That said, the lineup is still unbalanced...

I want to see Nuge get rw time with McD and put Drai with Luc and see if they can get two lines going.

I'm SO sick of seeing Lucic go from effective one game to completely and hopelessly useless another. The amount of times he goes way offside, makes a soft back pass when juuust in the zone or dekes his way into 3 opposing players is absurd.

Just like early last year, he looks like a burden on every C but Nuge.

Nuge is getting a raw deal. He's being asked to drag plumbers around the ice and produce. He is much better than the numbers he's putting up.

Woodguy on lowetide put some numbers around what I've been saying for a couple years. Chia has traded everyone that was able to produce away from McDavid. And we wonder why we have no secondary scoring?

I watched nervously the entire year last year. Yes, I was a doubter early on. I just looked at the roster and didn't think McDavid and Talbot would be able to carry them to a playoff berth.relative health and A few players had career years and I was wrong, but I still feel it's a pretty one dimensional team.

Here we are a year later, it's unlikely there's a repeat of the career years, less game breaking talent, injuries and higher expectations?
