Nice effort Filip Forsberg Heck of a passing play between Saad+Kaner. 2 hard fought points, and I liked Hartman at Center with Kaner much more than Anisimov or Kero. Suck it Trashville!

At least you didn't have to listen to the Nashville feed like I did.

Yeah, sometimes it's not quantity or shot quality, it's location.

Kane's passes were hit or miss the last few games, but when they did hit, they were often flubbed. Saad made no mistake there. Beautiful feed through the defender's legs exactly where Saad was going.

He's looked absolutely fantastic, as has the entire Toews' line. Hartman centering Kane and Debrincat was an effective line late in the game, as well. Hopefully Schmaltz can return next week.

I’m still not completely convinced that Kane is 100%.

Possible, but I think the deployment/usage threw him off his game a lot. Similar thing happened in 2014 with Zus - Kane took a while to get going and then only when he was double shifting with Shaw-Saad.

The guy we had last year spent most of his time with his ass rubbing up against the boards thinking about pretty passes to #88, and you saw how that worked in the playoffs. Taking it to the paint is the way to go.

And the Cub go down as they have many times in 2017...

This game was somewhat opposite the Wild one.

They started off slow against the Wild but were the better team in the latter two periods but lost on a suspect review. Tonight they were the worse team in two periods but were slightly better in the 3rd, scored on a suspect missed call, and then owned OT for the win. They had 7 shots to the Preds 1 in OT (5 of which were scoring chances). Probably deserved to win against the Wild and not tonight, but that's how hockey shakes out sometimes. If they could play like the last 15 minutes of tonights game more consistently, they'll be fine.

Idk why but the Preds are a weirdly bad 3-on-3 team.

Hmmm. Well we will learn later on if true. Could Seabrook have an issue too

I bet many here were wondering if Blackhawks could get revenge with a victory - nah - well maybe they have Ellis out - but would Cubs beat Kershaw again.

Not happy with how Blackhawks played. Not happy with how cubs had Kershaw out and were ahead. Who had predicted correct winning teams tonight

Great come from behind win by the Hawks! Thanks Sharpy,,,, I kind of liked the pairing of Kane, Hartman and D Cat in the last period. That line showed a lot more offense and creativity.. But you better have your best defenseman to back up DCat and Kaner. Sorry, but I am still not convinced that Toews is back to his old self. He missed two great opportunities to score tonigh and no goal....same story last night.
Let's keep rolling Hawks!
