TDL trade DD & off season dump LE for futures... even if salary has to be retained.
Then successful lotto draft of D & extra picks. (Lotto win extra bonus)

EP, Gaudette and Dahlen could be 2 year years away. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Gaudette gets the Boeser deal and plays the last handful of games this year. Noticed you never mentioned OJ? Sigh. I could actually see Goldy being moved if he doesn't show improvement away from the puck. But lets hope not. He's still young. I don't see anyone taking DD with term left either.

Agree on Gaudette getting BB look. Have been on that train from summer camp. Also, believe with TDL moves that EP & Dahlen will get a season ending look.
OJ not mentioned as we haven't seen him play against men yet and so jury out on development rate. The others are and have excelled playing against men. They can be ready to take next step with roster openings as suggested.
Goldy is leading Comets scoring and playing PK. He'll be fine and marinating more will have him ready to prove it too.
Lotto luck will determine top 3 pick not how low of a finish. Canucks could compete as bubble team and still win it. Look at Flyers, Stars and Devils they all moved up a lot.
The LE scenario is a bonus suggestion for off season not now. It's doable then as teams are cap & roster flexible. Especially with retention. Could help if he has a decent season too.

Little off topic. My first born is due in a week, and I just read a report that 5 public schools in my surrounding area and 2 private schools have outbreaks of whooping cough. I can't even tell you how much it pisses me off that people are against vaccinations, to each their own, but not when it could directly affect people who can't protect against it yet. I have had nearly 15 of my family members and 10 of my wife's have to get the pertussis vaccination. Just pisses me off.
