Pete Tessier? Who here remembers Esplen? - Coilers
Tessier was alright. It was thinking about Esplen. Thx.
I wonder if he is still writing. |

My thoughts also.
Assets that can be moved if depth in the system👍 - Nighthawk
I was looking at who shoots left and who shoots right, we have a little depth on both sides.
Edler on the books for one more season after this one. Almost a complete overhaul of our d group.
Change is coming. or whatever their little slogan was.
As Vantel said, they'd trade for a top 6 player.
it still isn't a rebuild, or at least not the one wanted by the media and many. it is draft and develop, still try to win, but hold onto picks for the most part. will make trades to get better- fingers crossed they are for younger players. and no more ufa signing like LE. |

Like I told Lefty I am not in a hurry to acquire a center. I feel confident in the centers we have now and more will be coming coming up in the next three years. I think even now our D is not horrible . I am looking more at wingers as our prospects develop.
I like JVs growth and I think BB and maybe Goldy should should see time in the NHL in the next two years . Things seem to be falling into place - VANTEL
Good synopsis👍
I still think a stud D is the missing piece.
They don't grow on trees but i am holding out hope JB gets us one.
Maybe next draft? |

We're gonna draft 14 to 31 next year, who do we trade for that top 6 pick that we need to draft Tchunk? - Pres.cup
That 14 to 21 spot would be very disappointing.

That top 6 player i see as being Kane as a freebie when UFA.
I like free & then move some quantity for quality afterwards.

I think Benning targets a top RHD of we get to 5 pick and dont Win the lottery.
Signing Turris = signing Eriksson
But if we picked up Turris 6x6 I'd be down. |

Drafting top ten easily, the team outside of Horvat is a lunchbucket group. Very little skill. |

I am okay with Draft and Develop if they are all in on that. My problem was Linden said yes we are going to rebuild then they sign vets.
I just hope they don't try to build around the old players. So far Green is doing okay

I'm also of the opinion of stock-piling Dmen, just a solid strategy IMO. That being said, If we get another first or second rounder, that gives us room for BPA. |

Atkinson resigned. Perron is not worth it. I wouldn't mind either of the other two.
Edit: I was wrong, little bit hesitant on Atkinson, he's 29 next year and smallish |

My early top 5 BPA...
Dahlin
Svechnikov
Boqvist
Tkachuk
Wilde
I realize players can rise or fall.
Using the above of my top 5 for the right deal i would trade down if we pick 5oa and only Tkachuk is left. That hinges on if Merkley is still there for us. Gets us an offensive RHD plus whatever bonus JB can squeeze in the trade. |

That is more than I'd like to see too. But I guess it might be the market.
Just seems that all these players are signing to play into their mid thirties and we are seeing the game get faster and faster, youth with skill and speed dominating.
