Couple observations.

Burmistrov is an offensive black hole and is killing that line.
Granlund is basically invisible in a bottom 6 role.

Boot Burmy to the press-box or Utica, replace him with Boeser.
Play Granlund at center until Gaunce returns to center the 4th then place him in Ericksson or Vanek's spot.

Sven really needs to start potting those breakaways

It's early but yes Boeser needs to draw in. Sven is streaky so we will see what happens. Granlund for sure needs top 6 help. I'm ok with Vanek where he is for now. Not sure where Eriksson fits yet....

Ericsson has been fine, Sven on the other hand ticks me off with his crap plays.
Boeser probably will draw in for Burmistrov or Virtanen.

JV looked OK to me vs OTT. I'm almost glad we lost cause if we squeaked that one out Boeser probably sits again. Sven is a soft, streaky player...we kind of know what we get with him. I'm OK with Louie so far too. Just need to find the fit. Once that happens we'll get some production out of him.

Granlund actually had a couple chances and created some for his wingers, however, he was pretty sound defensively - he'll move up and down the lineup and get his chance.
I agree its time to sit Burmy and give Brock a shot, hopefully next game.
But when Gaunce comes back the only centering he should be doing is in Utica. However, I do like the idea of Sven, Bo, Granlund.

Agree...but Gaunce will be back...score once off his ass in 77 games...then we can all talk about how great defensively he is.

Good morning,

Markstrom and Vanek are the top-liners in the new blog after last night's shootout loss:

I agree with pretty much all of this, I would rather see Virtanen stay in the line up and sit Baerschi. I think I would like to see Granlund play with Horvat or the Sedins, through Virtanen up with Horvat at times.

Try and be a professional I am a professional, a professional mariner.

I’m a bloody volunteer mod for a group of high maintenance posters

BTW, I can see why Turris is sooo coveted, he is a shootout specialist, definitely a wanted commodity for our phenomenal team...

Yes high maintenance but you r highly appreciated.
