I generally like his game and this he could continue to be an every day guy, but maybe it wouldnt hurt to try using him situationally and leaving the spot for the young guys. If Boesers in tonight instead of him do we win in regulation?

This is how he plays. Why DD stood out was because he had a shutdown role as a pest/agitator against a superstar. No one to do that with Sens but shutdown Granlund's talent.

BWC? I have been coaching my sons team since novice, first two years we played at Victoria Racquet Club, on the ice 4 or 5 days per week. Now we’re first year Bantam, House hockey, one practice and one game per week, I have way more time.

TG was boxed in with the line up today. They had too good of an effective game against Oilers.

Sure, it would have made sense to have more offense with BB. Especially against a Sen's team that was in a defensive shell. But that's not how reality works with dynamics of team and players.

Maybe now TG's more free to tinker or stay the course.
