Oh I didnt know that. AppleTV has an NHL.TV app, brah. Don't ask me how I know this, but you can use it on AppleTV, your phone, and your computer all at once. - YuenglingJagr
Well, that could be a game changer! I have the gen 2 Apple TV so I'll need to check if I can get it on that one or if I need a gen 3 or 4. |

That is the problem for me, I can stream all the games on so I can change the game feed, go PiP or put up 4 games at once. Have to change the source feed to go back to regular TV. Here is the real problem as I see it. A TRUE Flyers fan would NOT want to change channels during the game. What is wrong with you Scoob. - jaws1955
lol but I actually also watch hockey on nights/times when the Flyers aren't playing |

I hear about viruses. NHL.TV should be safe, have to be on line somewhere. I plug into tv with HDMI cable. I have big sets in living room, den and bedroom. Can plug in anywhere. Been using this since 09 without a problem. - jaws1955
With NHL.TV I use my xbox one and stream the games through that to my TV.
In my bedroom I stream it through my ROKU.
On my PC I simply stream it though the web.
NHL.TV is the bomb.

i truly have no idea how this works. can you watch thru something like an amazon firestick? - nastyflyergirl
Not sure about that. I can currently watch it on my desk top, 3 laptops, a tablet and my phone. If they can connect to your tv, you can watch on big scream. |

Is it something where they are sending it out to all platforms, so they have to make sure as many devices as possible can work with it? I am not a tech wizard, so honestly, I don't know why, either
It's definitely noticeable, though -- I watch a lot of games, and some of them are not at a high level of quality, though I do still see the value in Center Ice - AllInForFlyers
you can get pretty much games on every night between NBC Sports, the NHL network and the NBC Sports local stations (still hard no to call it CSN) that get broadcasted so I don't buy it anymore but i do see value in the sense that you can choose your game opposed to having to watch what is selected. If it was HD I would absolutely get it again |

Totally understand -- it's so much a habit for me, while I can get annoyed, I just pay and watch

poop, I forgot about that. The good thing is you can stream it anywhere. Have streamed through those devices too in the past. You can go hang with your buds, log in and watch. I have streamed at two location at once. Sometimes it will kick out of one site. It works very well for the most part. |

See, it's perfect. You get all the games, every night. I like it. It has worked well for me for 9 years now. There is so much hockey on almost all the time on networks. But you can't select the games you watch. You can buy just the one team package. It's only about 20 bucks more for all the teams though.
BTW if the Flyers aren't on you should be watching Flyers video so you cam improve your knowledge for these discussions. Lol |

That actually did help when I was playing. I worked with all the refs. Hell, even was the assigner for two rinks. I got away with poop. Didn't play cheap but the occasional hook or hold slipped by. I'm 6'2" and played at 210. I didn't have to be cheap. |

Yeah leave the cheap stuff to the pros. Guys in men's leagues have to stay healthy so they can afford their ice time. |

Really, here it is in English. None of the 3 rookies right now are better than MacDonald is, especially in the role that MacDonald is playing in. They may be more talented and have far more upside but they aren't better right now. - MJL
In my opinion both Hagg and Morin are better in that role.....right now.

Yeah, sometimes they need to be reminded of this. I was good at reminding folks. I played almost 30 years. Had one fight and two other (retaliation) majors. One was when I got speared in the balls. The other was when one of our drones got buried with a high cross check to the head. Damn I hate stick crap. Made me a crazy man.
Edit: I lied. The last one was only a double minor. Thank you ref old school. Didn't get anything for the fight. Was after time ran out and we had eliminated them from the playoffs. A bit of Morin rag doll thing . Hit him like 20 times, had to switch hand twice. Rode him face first into the ice.๐
he jumped me though. On an aside. One of the refs was Bill Walsh who's son Ian is now an NHL ref . The guys mention he is local when he does Flyers games. |

Think I read in the Detroit thread that his ask was 2.5 and Holland won't do more than 1.9 - AllInForFlyers
Seems reasonable for 18g and 29 points if he can play the wing. |

I had center ice last year and I was fine. This year I bought myself a Samsung 4k ultra hd and tried using center ice. No. Just no. It's not even close. Called Verizon who I have internet with and added cable again. |

You certainly are entitled to that opinion but what is it based on? Hagg and Morin have played 5 NHL game between them. You have no basis for forming that opinion.

I remember a couple things here and there from my playing days but for the most part I thought guys played hard but respectfully in the leagues I played in. There were maybe three or four fights in games I was in total over a period of years, so most everyone knew what we were there for. |

There always seems to be one. I got hit once behind the net so hard I went through the 5/8 plexy. Had the outline of my head and shoulders in it. But it was clean. I was 39 then and playing in 18 and over checking league. Too many ways to bang people without gets sticks involved. Hacking, slashing high sticks. Just always pissed me off. Most guys played it straight though. I always just figured that they had to go in the corner sometime. |

It's early and the Leafs can score quickly and in bunches, but right now the Blackhawks have opened up a can in the Big Smoke |

I didn't play in checking leagues as an adult. Some stuff did go on and I had a good idea of what I could get away with. You couldn't run anybody but you could get up on them and push them around, work a puck carrier that way. It could certainly get a little physical and the speed and skill were decent so guys were zipping around, serious injuries did happen. Seriously though, in this day and age if you want to fight, get into MMA or boxing. |
