Because their PP is generally good and they get momentum from it, unlike the Hawks. Hawks were the better team when it was mainly a 5v5 game in the 1st and start of the 2nd.

Pretty telling - in a penalty full game, Bouma has not played a second on the PK. He didn't in the other two games either.
