"Rumors abound that he (Panik) was banging wives/girlfriends."

Typical B.S., just like those about Sharp and Keith's ex.

I'm a big fan of Roku and the stick is rated really high with a dual processor for 50 bucks. I've only used PlaystationVue to stream but love it, can record EVERYTHING and stays available for 28 days after recording. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/

I use Sling TV (am only a couple months in to using it) and have been considering evaluating Vue as well. They seem really similar from a price/channel availability standpoint. Have you taken a look at the two side by side? I'm having trouble finding differences.

I met Daze in a bar in Naperville in 2002 or 2003 when his back was out and he was on IR. I offered to buy him a beer and he declined. he was a mountain of a man.

It was the Wednesday before thanksgiving and the Hawks were playing the SHarks.

- SteveRain

Yeah, I remember meeting Daze at HawkQuarters when he and Thibault were signing autographs. You are correct: Daze is a huge man. Very nice guy, though. Gentle giant.

Also snapping off some nice wristers. That goal he scored against CBJ was purty.

Yeah think a little risky throwing For berg in against a scoring machine . Would rather he start against weaker team .
- HamiltonHawk

This will be a good test for Forsberg, I’ll be interested to see how he steps up.

Forsberg had a solid pre-season, albeit against teams lesser than the Leafs. I’m not going to predict a win or loss, but I’m expecting a solid game from #31.

Its all good. Best way to learn is in games. I'm sure the Hawks will play a solid game, CC bailed the hawks out on bad turnovers or Rutta being out of position several times in game 1. He's not the only culprit but have to admit his adjustment in game 2 was impressive.

Have to say I never heard the Panik rumors. Then again, my sources generally don't share that kind of crap either.

#NHL #Blackhawks - Corey Crawford, Rest - is not expected to start Monday (10/9) at Toronto

CC was listed early this AM, not surprising though.

I have a good friend who was the Video Coach for the Toronto Marlies (actually tipped me on Panik trade a couple hours before it happened) and he told me the real reason Panik was dealt.

He heard directly from Mike Babcock that he thought his hockey IQ was too low and that it would never be where HE needs it to be to play in the NHL.

Keep in mind, Babs is as stubborn as Q sometimes. So when the Hawks came calling about Panik... Babs gave the go ahead to deal him because as long as he was in charge Panik would be a career AHLer.

- TyCamScore

This is basically what I heard. Babcock was not high on him.

Heard Crawford was sleeping with Hawks' wives/girlfriends and was punished by skipping a start. Any truth to this HB made up rumour?. Haha

Its not on EK's rumor chart, so not likely its true...

Who scores more tonight the Blackhawks, Cubs or Bears.
- -Doh-

An interesting question...

Bears - can't wait for the end of the Dowell (Kenny) Loggins er(a)ror.
should be interesting to see how Mitch does. Especially with those great receivers Gar I mean Ryan has put together.

Hawks -Not having Schmaltz in the lineup definitely hurts us. the kid's speed has been extremely evident so far driving the second line. Should be a real interesting game this evening.

Cubs - not worried about scoring - worried about the bullpen being scored on.

Montreal's home opener is tomorrow night and Cro is from Chateauguay just off the Island so he loves playing in the Bell Center. And Q knows he plays great there - I think last time in it was 5-0 Hawks.

This Toronto team managed 8 goals against Lundquist their last game and now we're going to give our back up goalie his 11th NHL start (first as a Hawk) in 3 seasons, with a defense that is still "progressing" at figuring things out.......this just feels like a recipe for disaster. Sure hope I'm thinking "what the *explicative was I worried about" 60 minutes after puck drop.....

I know Crow loves starting at the Bell Centre, but with the way the Habs are NOT scoring goals right now, Crow could probably play tonight and walk to Montreal after AND play well tomorrow.

......Here's Hoping to Witness Some Jimmy Waite Coaching Stellar Tonight

Down our 2nd best center, going with a backup goalie against a high flying team in their rink who promises to be motivated against a work in progress defense has all the makings of a long night.

But the Hawks will probably win 5-2, because hockey

Leafs defense are a big weakness for their team. If the Hawks can stick with their high pace moving the puck in transition and a heavy forecheck, they should be successful tonight.
