I think what has people frustrated is getting skated out the rink...43-21 shots on goal is legitimately not competitive. That's the worry. However, it's early and the team should improve and Schmaltz WILL make a difference. Kane line much better with 8 out there. |

That was awful all around. Hawks bounce back tomorrow. I've never seen so many penalties called. I also don't understand the new faceoff officiating. At all. Kero doesn't look close 100%.
Kane also a terrible game. How many times did he try to fly the zone and leave everyone else chasing the puck. |

Outside of the refs this was a pretty entertaining tilt. Appears that both teams are in for a fun season.
