Well I'm glad the canucks sometimes referred to as the cannots beat the oil. Edmonton played a sloppy undisciplined game and didn't deserve a win. I've said it before and I will say it again the Oilers are a two horse team and the rest of the team needs to make an effort. Connor can't put up hat tricks every game.

Not sure why the hype for the Coilers. They stink, or are we just that good?

I agree the Oilers are over hyped.

Sens is next game, why play a shut down line with a gritty pest against them?

TG can go traditional and play winning line up or be bold and mix it up.

This would be a good game to get BB in. Hope not at expense of JV.

My guess is a rolling attack with different weapons like:

Sven Bo JV- high octane drive to net.
LE Granlund Vanek - Switch up and crowd the crease
Sedins BB - slow game down and strike
Gagner Sutter Burmistrov - shifty and shooting

Hutton Tanev
Edler Stecher

I was wondering how long it might take before someone posted a line up with Dorsett not in it.

TG said nothing is static. He likes to mix and match. It's not based on what worked but what will do better.

Next teams up after Sens are Jets and Flames. They have superstars or are heavy teams so DD has more impact to play there.

Besides if BB can't draw in against Sens he'd be sitting out a couple weeks. Only three teams this month that BB would be better fit in then DD.

Why do you insist that Dorsett is out. How about Burmistrov, he played a mediocre game.

It's about matchups. TG said he looked pretty good by the way. Anyway Burmi might be better to rotate out for Flames game. It's not static.

Try this out it's a one stop prospect breakdown. They include clips too every week.

Also schedule of who is playing and when is pretty nifty if you want a closer look.

Yup, people that dont play the game will never get it. Any player looks at the opposing lineup and knows who might hurt them. It’s a contact sport
- CanuckDon

I dont know how many times I dummied a forward at the blue line with something like a chara or pacioretty hit.
After hits like that those players will hesitate coming even close to you for a long time. Makes your job easier and IF the player stays in the game it still generates tons of offside calls. Pain slows players down

What about those that play in a beer league, but it's in New Zealand and have to watch the Canucks on poopty computers at work due to time differences, have a generally positive outlook on the team (because, sports!) and don't get too upset regardless?
- dbot

Im wondering how you are a canuck fan when being all the way in NZ. Were you from here and moved away?

What is coach supposed to say after a win? Anyways I hope we don't have to go all season listening to posters talk about how Dorsett shouldn't be in the lineup.
It was bad enough last year listening to every 2nd comment being about Megna or Chaput.

It does get tedious & tiresome quickly.
Some ppl just seem to luv being repetitive.
