I don't get it. The discussion was around Dorsett being a good example of an agitator/shutdown type player that every team needs. There was disagreement but the conversation eventually turned to gangs and beautiful cities and other non hockey stuff. It didn't escalate until pages after when someone's feathers were ruffled.
Other than posting too much what was so grievous about what I posted? - bloatedmosquito
It was the content that went off the rails, Don hoping to meet you in Yaletown for a quick kiss, you actually enjoying getting under his skin...etc
I deleted quite a bunch off flagged posts from 4U, Donna, bloated, Pres.cups, Dragon, Booner, and most were childish jibberish.
Repeated for the thousand time, everyone just stop responding to the BS. |

People actually flag posts in here?

Not like the usual discussions around here are much better anyway. And people here continue to think discussions = fights/panic/drama which is hilarious. - Nucker101
It's funny, when a conversation between two or three posters escalates everyone else just stops posting and watches the fireworks. If the conversation just continued as usual then the fireworks would just be lost in the background noise.
Instead it's front and centre. People complain "you dominated the thread and I just couldn't read it". Well don't and continue with you own conversation and ignore the rest.
It's like slowing down to look at a car wreck and then complaining that people are slowing down to look at a car wreck. |

What's more amazing is that the posters who complain about whining the most are the ones who whine the most when someone says something they don't agree with. |

I have driven all over this absolutely beautiful country. I will say that getting through or around GTA is a nightmare. Montreal is also a bit challenging as I’m not bilingual.
Manitoba was hilarious, I’d come to a crossroads coming out of Gimli, see headlights coming and wonder do I have enough time to go, only to see those headlight coming and coming and coming straightest hi-ways in Canada. - Makita

It had nothing to do with Nuck4U. It was a Bloated, Donna, Booner royal rumble. - bloatedmosquito
I wasn't even in the rumble at first. I just got too close to the pitbull fight I think and was dragged in.

Just going to say that.
Some people can take the ribbing and are just expected to continue to take the ribbing. No body complains about that.
But god help you if you land on someone who thinks this forum is some inner sanctum. |

No! This was your first post directed at me. I was talking to someone else by the way. - bloatedmosquito
Oh come on bloated... you just finished misquoting people as saying Dorsett was going to "win the Selke"... that seemed tongue and cheek and I said the same kind of thing is all. That was nothing. Just like when you threw out the term "Drama Queens". I repeated it and a few posts later you pointed at me forgetting it was your original comment... I was only playing inside the boundaries you made. I was not being nasty. You went out of the boundaries and brought up old non hockey stuff not me. That's when I felt you dragged me into an actual fight.
Didn't matter anyways. I was in a spectacular mood yesterday and that only briefly disrupted it. I rolled up the last of my Holy Grail to get back on track. It really is a magical mood lifter. But now I'm out. So look out
