Conditioning? What's with the switch?
- bloatedmosquito

Timra I believe is Swedish 2nd division. I think going back to Timra both to regain some conditioning/weight while recovering from Mono is the plan. I think signing with the 1st division is a priority for development

Well because Timra is in Div 1 which is essentially a league below the SHL, he's basically going to the AHL of the Sweden - which isn't a bad thing, but he's proven he can rip that league up, I was hoping he'd play with the big boys, even better if there was a spot on Vaxjo with EP, but he can move up if he plays well.

So apparently in Doug Gilmour's new book he reveals he rejected a trade from Toronto to Vancouver in 1997 which would have been for Naslund, which brought up a funny question:

No way. Naslund's all class. Four seasons with the Mess. So what. Ancient history. I hate him even more now because of it. I'm ok with that.

Palmu with 2 goals already today

one on the PP, the next at even strength, virtually identical goals. One timers from near the faceoff hash marks

I can't understand why anyone would reject our team?

Virtanen apparently texted Burrows last night, told him he was a great guy, and that he was going to go after him when they played. Burrows responded (probably in French) with a bunch of stuff Virtanen couldn't repeat lol

No way in hell. Moved down to the GTA recently (God help me). The 401 is a straight up death trap and I'm saying that without an inch of snow on the ground...plus none of these bums put on winter tires.......

Having driven across the country, I'd have to give a nod towards the maritime folk or Manitoba/Sask.

I've lived in four provinces, and the best one i've lived in is ON. Here in NB people pull out in front of you no matter how fast you're driving and they don't signal.

The GTA might be bad but the rest of the province is pretty good. I've also lived in BC and AB so that rules out Sask/Man which I agree have good drivers in my experience.

The best thing to come out of Ontario is an empty bus.

Meh, there are parts of ontario that are great. Our discussion is about drivers that is all.

I don't get it. The discussion was around Dorsett being a good example of an agitator/shutdown type player that every team needs. There was disagreement but the conversation eventually turned to gangs and beautiful cities and other non hockey stuff. It didn't escalate until pages after when someone's feathers were ruffled.

Other than posting too much what was so grievous about what I posted?

I have driven all over this absolutely beautiful country. I will say that getting through or around GTA is a nightmare. Montreal is also a bit challenging as I’m not bilingual.

Manitoba was hilarious, I’d come to a crossroads coming out of Gimli, see headlights coming and wonder do I have enough time to go, only to see those headlight coming and coming and coming straightest hi-ways in Canada.

Not like the usual discussions around here are much better anyway. And people here continue to think discussions = fights/panic/drama which is hilarious.
