I think people had hoped he would be able to sign with Vaxjo instead of Timra just to gain familiarity with Pettersson. I kind of hoped that they would continue developing together and gain more chemistry, but going back to Timra is the next best option I think.

Sounds like he tried to sign with a SEL team but there were no takers...all good, he will get lots of ice time and be back in Utica next season. He is still only 19

Timra is not a great team by the looks of it so that may mean loads of playing time...

Well because Timra is in Div 1 which is essentially a league below the SHL, he's basically going to the AHL of the Sweden - which isn't a bad thing, but he's proven he can rip that league up, I was hoping he'd play with the big boys, even better if there was a spot on Vaxjo with EP, but he can move up if he plays well.
