You could take a picture of that in every city, even small cities.

I'm from Halifax and they don't got anything like the DTES.

They may have a few 'crack houses' but not blocks upon blocks of lost souls.

You are a homer when it comes to prospects....perhaps it’s cause you just look at stats and don’t watch the kids. Yes, I’m a tough guy
- CanuckDon

Homer?

It upsets me, especially after all we've been through, that you don't understand me.

What, flaunt tens of thousands of dollars in the faces of people who struggle just to scrape the cash together to go watch him play?

Yes, those crazy kids...

Agree he's no poster boy for civility. But has respected home city Vancouver with charity work. His off ice antics have ceased as he has matured. His on ice game is in Igilna mold.

What do u know of Linseman?
- Nighthawk

I watched hockey while he was an active player.

We didn't have access to the players back then like we do now. You had to believe what media you had access to and what you saw when you watched a game on TV or listened on the radio.

TBH is was much more enjoyable back then because all you knew about a player was what they did on the ice. You had no idea what happened off it.

Exactly. I don't think people realize just how unique DTES is. It's a phenomenon.

Ok I'll fill in the blanks👍

He was a dirty player who didn't back it up & let others do it for him.
Aka Bobby Clarke.

In one game he was in the penalty box & Darcy Rota was flying down the wing & Linseman rung him around the neck with his stick. He's Ulf Samuelsson McSorley Gary Suter Marchand Tom Wilson who went around the ice hurting ppl intentionally with no regard to hockey.

Do i need to cite examples?

If DD has an impact now, beyond Booner's punching bag take, but TG deployment as a pest/agitator, is he needed to play in game against Sens over sitting BB?
- Nuck4U

I think he gets paid too much and laugh at the idea that he's a deterent but make no mistake, I think he's a good 4rth liner.

Kind of like 500 out of the 700 eligible NHL players are? Good 4th liners.

Agree. Plus there is growing debate or divergence what NHL 4th line players role or type should be now.

Is this something you only just discovered? Is it a exciting new fact? I think we heard you... there's no reason to keep reminding people that there are other good 4rth liners in the league. I don't think we need any more thank you. And replacing Dorsett with another would free up a little cap space but it's hardly worth the effort to replace him. He can be effective if used right. We've seen it past and present. Chances are his games injured will still be an issue and his role is replaced internally.

Stop panicking. It was only one win. Dorsett is not going to get us into the playoffs. Relax. Stop the hand wringing.
