I like the fact TG is taking his time with Pouliotte, not in the lineup Saturday.

Are you still using beta max

😡 Smart ass, I use almost all know gadgets to man kind, I do not need 24/7 news feeds when someone looks sideways or takes a sh!t and uses Kirkland brand instead of Charmin.

Trent Cull on Goldobin " he was pretty sad the first day he showed up here. I punched him in the arm and said lets get this going, he has been fine since"
- Codes1087

awww that's cute

as for drafting bo, wennberg is the other big comparison imo. tbh i thought lazar was going to be something (but lower ceiling than the other forward previously mentioned)

and to touch on a previous topic, i think it could in fact be beneficial to be able to sit brock or jake every now and then for rest/coaching purposes. just depends how long those stints are if they occur.

Many people on twitter are roasting Benning for this quote that he said to a reporter, saying it shouldn't have taken him this long to establish this. This quote actually makes me happy, because I think now he truly understands that this game is getting more skillful, faster, and youth must be developed and deployed appropriately.

- Codes1087

man some people

he's obviously just using that as a recent reference point for the average fan. he's been talking about speed and skill for quite a bit longer than that - essentially since he executed on his focus of kids with an actual NHL wrist shot.

Makita, Im intrigued by your statement and would like to hear more about what you mean exactly. Please elaborate your position on social media destroying mystique on teams, sounds interesting
- SMBDragon

This is my personal opinion, I find that social media and twitter constantly are bombarding people with the up to the minute...err correction, up to the milli second of what’s happening in any one players life, teams and reporters gossip and innuendo about this, that or the other.

The feds give us BlackBerry cells and I had an operating issue, the only way to contact BB support is to register a twitter account, now I get dozens of notifications daily from every twitter idiot about BS, that I just delete.

I used to enjoy getting the paper and reading actual sports articles, having discussions with my friends about the sport.

I don’t, absolutely hate it, but I also believe in to each their own.

I signed up to Facebook when I transferred to Ottawa, well someone does something and then all of a sudden everyone and their dog has an opinion. People are vilified, attacked, judged, sentenced and forever thought of in a lesser light.

A lot of studies have shown that social media has a negative effect on people's mind. Leads to anger, frustration, jealousy and sometimes depression.
